1. Introduction 
The general terms and conditions of sale detailed below govern the contractual relationship between the User (hereafter referred to as You) and ScandiFurni (hereafter referred to as We) belonging to the company Europe Goods Group Ltd reg.no. 11155234. Registered in England & Wales. Both parties accept these conditions unreservedly. These general conditions of sale are the only conditions that are applicable and replace all other conditions, except in the case of express, written prior dispensation. We maintain that, by confirming your order, you unreservedly accept our general conditions of sale, having read them. These Terms and Conditions of Sale are important to you and ScandiFurni as they have been designed to protect your rights as a valued customer and to protect our rights as a business and to create an understanding between us.


2. Ordering 
There are 2 different ways of placing an order: 
- by Internet on our website: www.scandifurni.co.uk (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) 
- by e-mail: [email protected] (24 hours a day and 7 days a week) 
Each piece of furniture on our website is custom made for you, accordingly to your selection of fabric & size. The delivery time is approximately 5-8 weeks from the confirmation of your order, depending on the chosen product. When placing an order, 50% deposit is required. The remaining 50% are paid afterwards, when the order is ready for delivery. Once you have confirmed the order you must pay the order, which legally finalizes the purchase agreement made with ScandiFurni.

3. Product information 
ScandiFurni takes great care when putting information online with respect to the essential characteristics of our products, notably with respect to the technical descriptions emanating from our partners and suppliers and the photographs illustrating the products; this however, within the technical limits that exist and with respect for the best standards on the market. 
All product measurements are approximate and are subject to change. All product finishes (including fabric & leather) are represented in the most accurate way possible, but are subject to batch variations and individual computer screen viewing disparities. We cannot guarantee that subsequent orders will match exactly your original order. Natural, vintage, reclaimed or aged finishes in particular are all unique and the image on screen is a representation of the final product only.


4. Prices 
The prices indicated on the Site are in Pounds and include the delivery cost to your front door. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any moment but will apply the current rates as indicated to you on the site at the time the order was placed.

ScandiFurni will not be liable for any direct or indirect financial loss or damage suffered by you through any reasonable delay or delay due to unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of ScandiFurni or delay due to any reasonable rescheduling of delivery. ScandiFurni are not liable for any import taxes that may be applied during customs checks when receiving or returning goods. We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.


5. Availability 
99% of the time all our items that are published on our store are always available for order. 
In the event where one of the products ordered is not in stock, we will contact you in less than 15 days as of your order date to inform you how long it will be before we are able to deliver the product. We can offer you a replacement for an unavailable product, a product of equal price and quality. If you choose to refuse, we can reimburse the unavailable product. 


6. Delivery
A signature accepting goods received in good condition is required for every delivery. We cannot leave goods in a porch/garden etc nor can we alter the delivery address on the day. Delivered items are assumed to have been received in good condition, when the delivery paperwork is signed. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to check the goods before signing the delivery paperwork. An item signed for, cannot be subject to a claim if the damage is not noted on the delivery paperwork. Any damages or missing boxes/parts must be logged with us via email within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. We require photographs wherever possible, a full and detailed description of the issue, your order number and your proof of delivery receipt information. The sooner we are alerted to a problem the sooner we can resolve it for you. If we do not hear from you within the first 48 hours we may not be able to assist. Please note – it is your responsibility to check the packages upon delivery. Signing for items as ‘Received unchecked’ or ‘Unseen’ will prevent us from being able to accept a return. If in the unusual event that a parcel is delivered damaged please make a clear note of this on the delivery note or refuse the delivery. All delivery prices assume that the delivery is achievable by normal means of access into a customer’s home and that this is safely possible for the delivery person(s). We will not accept returns on the basis of a product not fitting into property or if the product proportions have not been fully considered. It is the customer’s responsibility to measure for both the exterior access and the final internal location. If you have concerns or would like advice please contact us, however please note - though all guidance is given in good faith, we cannot take any accountability for a product not fitting.


7. Secure payment and finanacial data treatment
ScandiFurni guarantees the security of your payments, by encrypting the connection when transmitting information on the network. Please note that if your security department suspects fraud, we have the right to cancel the transaction for security reasons. ScandiFurni offers 2 methods of payment: Credit card (Credit Card ), bank transfer. 
When you pay by credit card, your account will be debited when your order is forwarded, on condition that we have received pre- authorization from your account. If sufficient funds are not available, your order will not be taken into account. For payments made on-line by credit card, the “Secure Socket Layer” (SSL) system of security is used, which allows for encrypting your banking information when on the network.
Financial data- the data inserted by our clients whilst acquiring with a credit card or using other financial data, is strictly censored and NOT memorized or registered in any way by our company.
Bank transfer payment: Your payment will be processed when your bank transfer is received. Once your payment is received we will dispatch your goods within the provided manufacturing time. The processing of off-line payments may take several days.


8. Right of Retraction
You have the right to cancel your order either before delivery, or within 14 days of delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights. If goods are agreed to be returned, all items must be returned to us in a saleable condition and we reserve the right to make any reasonable deductions from the amount refunded to you if there are signs of wear and/or damage to the goods. All returned Goods must be returned smartly and securely repacked within their original packaging. Assembled & self-assembly products must be returned unused and in their original packaging and cannot be returned once assembled or part assembled unless confirmed as defective or damaged in transit. ScandiFurni does not accept responsibility for covering return transportation cost of the Goods and cannot be held responsible for any damage/loss occurring in return transit. Goods must be returned to an agreed address supplied by ScandiFurni. Refunds will only be issued once the goods have been received back to ScandiFurni and checked. Lighting or electrical products must be returned unused and still in the original packaging, a return will not be accepted if they have been wired in. Refunds will only be made to the original payment card/bank account used for purchase. ScandiFurni are not responsible for any currency fluctuations; refunds will be set at the price you paid, not the price in the currency concerned at the date of refund. There is no automatic right of return for any clearance products purchased as they are sold as seen online at a discounted price. Your statutory rights are not affected.

9. Guarantee 
Unless otherwise stated, all furniture carries a 2 year guarantee against faulty workmanship or faulty materials. Guarantees do not cover fair wear and tear, neglect, abuse or misuse of your Goods, loss or damage (including rusting and corrosion) due to unreasonable exposure to water or weather; loss or damage due to fire, smoke, explosion, lightning, sunlight, infestation by animals or insects, or theft, or accidental damage or loss caused by a third party. Guarantees may not be assigned to a third party.


10. Protection of personal data 
Since the details you give us are essential for the processing and delivery of orders, for billing and for the establishment of warranty contracts, failure to provide these details will result in the cancellation of your order. By registering on the Site, you agree to provide us with sincere and true information as it concerns you. 
Communicating false information is contrary to the present General Conditions as well as the conditions of use listed on the Site. ScandiFurni is authorized to extract, handle and use information that concerns you. This information is the subject of computer processing. However, this does not apply to the data given at the moment of purchase with a credit card. It is protected data which is NOT registered or memorized with our company in any way.
You have the permanent right to access and rectify all the information that concerns you, in accordance with European texts. You can at any time make a request to ScandiFurni to find out what personal information they have concerning you. You may at any time, and by request, modify this information. 
If you accepted to receive our promotional e-mails when you registered on the Site, ScandiFurni and its contractual partners may send you information concerning particular and occasional promotions. You may at any time request not to receive any further e-mails from us by mailing us. Only ScandiFurni has information regarding you. 
ScandiFurni partners have been specially chosen by ScandiFurni and are recognized for the quality of their products and services. 
We would like to remind you that cookies record certain information stored on your hard drive. This information enables us to generate statistics based on data from visitors to our site and suggest products that might interest you according to the items that you selected when you previously visited the site. Before any information is recorded, an alert message will ask you whether you would like to enable cookies, and you may refuse if you wish. Cookies do not contain any confidential information about you.


11. Intellectual ownership 
All the content on the ScandiFurni site (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images and videos) is the property of ScandiFurni, its co-contractors or partners. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any support, is subject to prior and express authorization by ScandiFurni. All information, content, files and software offered by our services is protected by International law concerning intellectual ownership and copyright. ScandiFurni cannot give you the right to copy, display or distribute content that you do not have the intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party constitutes an offence of forgery, which is severely punished under the Intellectual Property Code. ScandiFurni will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through his activities on the site.
